Praising the Lord and Giving Thanks

God did not give us the victory last night.

However, we want to give Him praise and glory for all that He has done during this campaign.

Even though we know the final result is a loss for us, we would still do it all over again.

It was not in His will for us to win, but it was in His will for us to run.

I’m so very grateful for all the blessings God has poured out to my wife and me during this campaign.

We’ve grown stronger in our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as well as in our relationship with each other.

There are many, many more blessings which I could list, but I don’t have the time or space right now.

None of these blessings, especially and most importantly growing closer to Christ, would have happened without us running this race.

For that we are eternally grateful and thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And we are also eternally grateful and thankful for God giving us the loss.  We know He will use this loss to bring great glory to Him and great good to us.

We praise the Lord for it all!

Further, we want to thank all who helped our campaign by donating time, donating money, putting up a yard sign, placing a bumper sticker on their vehicle, encouraging friends or family to vote for us, or, most importantly, praying for us.

We want to specifically thank Eric Householder, Kandi Montini, Melany Holz, Eileen Hollibaugh, Helene Kerns, Ashby Kave, Debra Girimont, David Butler, Daryl Cowles, Pastor Devin Ward, and our entire church family at First Baptist Church of Inwood for all of their prayers, help, love, support, and encouragement during the campaign.

Lastly, we look forward to continuing to serving our Lord and Savior by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all and growing closer with Him.  We are excited for the plans He has for us in the future!

In Christ’s Love,

Jonathan and Kimberly Miller
